Tucked Away!
A recent shoot came from a private owner wanting to do all the work himself to sell his house.
A nice way to save money for sure.
The house was situated at the end of a narrow road near the inner city area.
Looking at the outside of the house when I arrived, I was thinking it wasn't that big, although two story, it wasn't until I had entered the front entrance that the inside looked a lot bigger.
It was such a beautiful home, which is why I would like to show it off here.
The owners had lived there for over 20 years, he was very particular on what he wanted to capture.
At first I was a little nervous in thinking that I hope I can deliver what he expected. I think I did, he and his wife were very happy with the results.
One thing I know he was not happy with, is the fact the sun was out shinning away the day before, but on the morning I arrived, a very overcast cloudy day... I assured him that sometimes it is good to have these clouds becasue it can make it easier to shoot the interior when you don't have strong sunlight streaming in through the windows. Clouds are like a giant soft box.
The back shot you will notice I took it twice. The sun started to come out and I have to admit, it looked a little more alive when you see the sun over the ground area over looking the pool.
It was a nice experience to have the owner on the grand piano playing a classical piece while I was shooting.
